Our team encompasses over 15yrs of knowledge in bloodline research, training, and breeding.

All of our dogs are direct imports from Europe. We typically import dogs from Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Netherlands, Denmark and France.

Our goal is to produce the German Shepherd capable of real life working environments such as police, military and personal protection.

No dog is 100% perfect! Even behind all the hype, marketing and egoism, most honest breeders know what desirable traits their dogs have. Breeding in our opinion, is to find a breeding pair that complement each other. For example, taking a male perhaps with extreme drives and high aggression to a female that may be somewhat less extreme in drive and maybe a tad lacking in the aggression department. And while we prefer more intense drive dogs, too extreme of anything can be a bad thing. Our breedings focuses on a balanced dog.

Bloodlines matter… And while “breeding papers” does not guarantee you a dog with the desired traits you hope to achieve. Breeding exemplary dogs that embody those traits, give you a higher propensity to breed puppies that have the traits of such dogs. We look at 5-6 generations of both the male and female in our breeding’s. We not only look at the breeding pair itself, but also the dog’s siblings, their parents, what their parents produced in regards to hip production, titled progeny, desired traits such as drives, nerves, aggression, grips etc. We also look at the dog’s siblings to see what they have produced. So our research is quite extensive, thorough, well thought out and executed.

Drive – We love dogs with intense, manageable drive. Too extreme of a dog can be a nightmare and a liability in some instances. There is a difference between intense drive and extreme drive. We prefer dogs that have intense ball/toy drive, food drive, hunt drive and retrieve drive. These dogs work intently for that reward through drives and are much easier trained if they possess these intense drives.

Sharpness – Sharpness is a dog’s ability to react to stimuli. That stimuli could be someone suspicious walking on your property or someone approaching you on an early morning or late night walk in your neighborhood. We prefer to breed dogs that have some sharpness and react defensively in such scenarios. As we stated above, many of today’s sport dogs lack not only good natural aggression, but also the ability to view ANYTHING as a threat. There are many dogs titled to the highest degree title that would NOT be willing to defend you even if someone whacked you over the head right in front of them. That person could very well take that “world renown”, “highly titled” dog out the house on its leash after killing his or her owner. Some sports enthusiasts are OK with this scenario. But to each his own…
